What could you say?
Alright. This may be a little crazy, but I would like to put something out there. I have heard many good comments, testimonies, etc… of people speaking highly about their spouses/marriage relationship. I know there’s a lot of negative stuff that gets heard all the time. But what about the good qualities that someone could look for/strive for in a marriage relationship?
Would you just leave a LONG comment and answer these thought provoking questions or post it on your own blog and comment me here to tell me that you did? Hopefully, this will be an encouragement to those who read. I hope I have many responders!
#1I had someone tell me some time ago that their spouse was “their life.” From a Christian standpoint, God is your life—but I knew what they meant. How are your lives mingled and entertwined? Interests, hobblies, work, faith, convictions……..
#2Describe how your spouse makes you feel special and loved. Even the smallest ways up to the major ways.
#3How does your spouse model respect in your home?
#4What are some of the most important ways that your spouse encourages you?
#5How has love grown and matured between you and your spouse through the years?
#6When your spouse walks into a room, what about them would make your eyes light up?
(answers like, “The glare from his bald head.” will NOT be accepted… lol
#7What has been the greatest strength to your communication with each other? (weekly date night, prayer, walks, letters, cards, etc……..) Please describe how this has benefited you as a couple.
Thank you so much! Now, let’s see what happens!
